Frou Frou

I tumbled upon Frou Frou incidentally. Heard it , fell in love, almost instantaneously! The name Frou Frou is a French onomatopoeia for the swishing sound made by the skirts of the dancing woman. Imogen Heap and Guy Sigsworth collaborated to make the album Details in 2002.Featuring a wide range of electronica, with elements of trip-hop, pop and rock, the eclectic, intricately produced tracks use a wide range of organic instruments from cellos, autoharps, guitars, keyboards, and Indian drums, with layered vocals from Heap.

Psychobabble, has very interesting music. The interlude will keep you guessing and there is definitely an Indian rhythym to it. Her vocals are powerful and seductive . Heap and Sigsworth have worked wonders with the lyrics.

Psychobabble

How did you get this number?
I can't get my head 'round you
Of course you're not coming over
Snap out of it
You're not making any sense

You couldn't be more wrong, darling
I never gave out these signs
You misunderstand all meaning
Snap out of it
I'm not falling for this one

If love is surrender
Then whose war is it anyway?

Do just what I tell you
And no one will get hurt
Don't come any closer
'Cause I dunno how long I can hold my heart in two

If you think that it's so damn easy
Then what do you need me for?
Just look at the state of you
Babe, snap out of it
You're not listening to this

And just for once could you
Let me finish my sentence?

Do just what I tell you
And no one will get hurt
Don't come any closer
'Cause I dunno how long I can hold my heart in two

Make no sudden movements
And no one will get hurt
You're not coming over
If you know what's good for me
Why would I be leaving you?

Now, I've had it up to here
Don't ever try that again
Why are you so quiet so suddenly?
Go on, have it
You're just dying to try me

Do just what I tell you
And no one will get hurt
Don't come any closer
'Cause I dunno how long I can hold my heart in two

So, what do we do now?
What do we do now?
What do we do now?
What do we do now?

This song is a story of Imogen Heap telling off an ex. The lyrics are profound , and mysterious . the darkness of the song comes with the haunting music. the music is strangely warped in time. Check it out!!

Kings Of Convenience

The first song has to be.....Gold in the air of Summer! This is played by Kings Of Covenience who are an indie pop duo group from Norway. The band consists of Erlend Oye and Eirik Glambek Boe.They are known for their soft melodies, pleasing voices and sublte guitar strings. Their music is easy listening with rather thoughtful lyrics. This particular song is my favorite.

Gold In The Air Of Summer

Without giving anything away
I can say it's by the sea
It's a house that used to be
The home of a friend of mine

Without giving anything away
You'll find ships inside of bottles
When the garden's overgrown
The house is white, but the paint is coming off

I didn't know if you wanted to
But I came to pick you up
You didn't even hesitate
And now you and me are on our way
I think I've bought everything we need
Don't look back, don't think of the
All the places we should've been
It's a good thing that you came along with me

Gold in the air of summer
You'll shine like gold in the air of summer
You'll shine like gold in the air of summer
You'll shine like gold in the air of summer

What can I say? I fell in love with the song. Its simple , eloquent , special. For all who want to share something special!
